- Current Miami-Dade Notice of Acceptance or Florida Product Approval for each product, with all elements identified by circle or cloud
- Design wind loads signed, sealed, and dated by a Design Professional if the building's mean roof height exceeds 30 feet (for buildings under 30 feet, the Broward County Fenestration Voluntary Wind Load Chart may be used instead)
- Broward County Uniform Retrofit Window & Door Schedule
- HOA/Condo Association approval letter, if applicable
- Elevation drawing, if an egress window is shown on the floor plan
- Photo of the existing door, if a catwalk is adjacent and the door would reduce its required width by more than one-half
- Turtle glass certification letter from the manufacturer (VLT 45), for east-, north-, or south-facing windows/doors near the beach on the Coastal Construction Control Line
- Engineer calculations, if the property is commercial
- Note on the plan confirming no change to the size, shape, or location of openings, if the property is in a historic district
- Recorded Notice of Commencement, if the contract price is greater than $5,000
